We were sent here when our room at La Griffe (sister hotel) had "water damage." I have learned that "water damage" means the hotel was over booked. It was awful. Awful. I am still itching from that night and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. La Griffe is lovely. When we finally were able to check in I was... more

Myself and my partner were dreading staying at this hotel after the majorly disappointing reviews and the pictures posted so far. The first impression on entering the hotel was not overly bad, but the place looked very tired and in need of some serious money being thrown at it. I can appreciate that hotels in Italy and Europe do not... more

The breakfast is awfull, the hotel adds water in the milk and just offers bread, coffee and tea, besides the "watermilk". Staff is not polite with guests. And don't expect much cleanliness because you won't have it at Hotel Nizza. more

Room was large, clean the staff acceptable and it location is close to alot of attractions, but thats as good as it gets. Very run down, no cold water, in November! No shower curtain so floor was knee deep in water after 2 showers which explains the wood rot. Door had been jimmed in the past. Breakfast was terrible, go... more

May have been a 3 star hotel at one time, but more akin to 1 star now. Faded and jaded. The breakfast was bad, lukewarm to cold hideous coffee out of a kettle (not kept warm). One choice of cereal. Pastries quite nice. Only grapefruit juice or water. Total lack of choice that would expect from a reasonable hotel. Bedroom... more

We stayed over a long weekend. The hotel is very central and is ideal for exploring Rome. Clearly the hotel is a little dated and in need of freshing up, but I believe for the price its fine. Dont expect a plush 3 star with all mod cons, its not. But for a basic cheap hotel it has just what... more

Ok, so we read the site after booking and decided to go ahead anyway...firstly it is a budget hotel so you do get what you pay for. - -The breakfast is very mediocre -coffee ( awful) and pastries (dry) but if you ask they will make you fresh cappuchino / espresso - the rooms tired / in need of a... more

I just got back from my trip in italy. This hotel was by far the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. I don't even have the photos downloaded yet but I will post some pictures of this terrible hotel. First of all for the price (over $700 for three nights) was about $600 more then I was willing... more

I chose to stay at the hotel nizzar as the photos on the net looked nice and it was rated as a 3 star. well lets just say that the photos are not exactly accurate. we found the room to be very "shabby" to say the least... rather uncomfortable and dated.... more
