We have literally just come back from a fantastic few days in Rome & we loved this hotel! The location is perfect for all the main tourist attraction being in walking distance, rooms are small but clean, breakfast is excellent BUT we wouldn't recommend the High Res bar. Sadly the food was very very expensive (we ate in a Taverna... More

Our travel agent recommended this hotel, saying the location was unbeatable - he was right! Just a short walk gets you to the Spanish Steps, a 25 minute stroll gets you to Castel Sant' Angelo and the Vatican and if you want to explore further afield or don't want to walk, the Metro is just the other side of the... First time in Rome and I can't wait to go back. Hotel Valadier is just lovely. Situated in Via Della Fontanella, a quiet lane just off from The Piazza Del Popolo, it is stylish and beautifully decorated. Staff are extremely polite and helpful and speak very good English. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. Breakfast was wonderful; something for everyone.... More

We ended up at this once-glamorous hotel because of a sudden change in plans and were charged the full price, 370 euros per night for a double room (we got two). Immediately we were struck by the sombreness of the hall (it's actually in the basement) and the 1980s decorations; the receptionist was kind but not as much as you... More

We had a group of 11 staying at Hotel Valdier and upon arrival, they were short a triple room and upgraded one of our rooms to a suite. The hotel itself was clean and had a great ambiance. However, there are mirrors all over which can leave you a bit confused at times. The rooms that we had that were... More

Small rooms but wasnt a problem at all; it looked both modern and in keeping with the Rome environment, was very clean and compact. Breakfast was everything you could want and all service was friendly and efficient. We loved the location and were very pleased with our hotel choice and the value fir money compared to other likewise hotels. More

Italy, it was my dream for so long! It became a reality, with a much anticipated 2 week adventure with my husband. We planned plenty, but only booked 3 nights stay for our first week. We planned for an adventure, doing much like our son and "flying by the seat of our pants." Learning to backpack at our age! I... More

We stayed for a four night break. Booked package with Expedia for Triple Room. Room was small but it was clean and served 2 adults and 1 child perfectly. Walking distance to Popolo Metro. Pizza Restaurant next to hotel is OK and you get 10% discount if you dine in one of two hotel restaurants which works out reasonable. Always... More
