My cousin and I stayed 4 days at this hotel. It is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel as they had advertized. Terrible service , Terrible breakfast and small stinky rooms!! Initally when we checked in, the girl just gave us our keys and sent us to the last floor. We got to the sixth floor (last floor) and couldn't... more

This may not be the most chic hotel in Rome, however, the character and beauty that this hotel possessed was delightful. It was what you want to expect when you visit a city as ancient as this, something with history and a story to tell. The service was excellent and I wouldn't pick another hotel to stay in. more

we spend three days there and would probably given the value for money ratio do it again. as far as the location is concerned the hotel is situated in a quiet residential area with a few places to eat - bus connection and train stop just around the corner if you miss the last bus it is about 25 min... more

We stayed here for the final night of an Insight tour. The room they gave us smelt of smoke and was right beside the huge air conditioning fans. They told us to open our windows to get rid of the smell but when you did that you couldn't hear anything because of the noise from the fans. The front desk... more

We were part of a large group that occupied both the Ritz and the Regent. We had a great spacious room that was really clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful, the American breakfast was more than adequate, and the location of being close to a station but in a quiet area suited us. The three day metro/bus ticket was... more

I disagree with a lot of the negative reviews of this hotel. I stayed there for 2 nights at the beginning of a tour of Italy. The underground train stations were right down the street and we were in the city center within a few minutes. I thought the hotel felt unique and elegant with large hotel rooms by European... more

I stayed here for a little less than a week. Mine and my friends computer were both stolen from our rooms while we where out. The hotel said their insurance would cover and as soon as I got home I emailed the address they gave me. Almost a month has passed and I have yet to heard back from them.... more

The Ritz left me with mixed feelings. When I checked in I was given a room in the Regent Hotel, which is next door and run by the same company. The room was not pleasant. Very especially, it had a shoddy window frame that didn't shut well and let in all the noise from the street below. After complaining I... more

I am a solo traveler and spent two nights at the Ritz as part of a tour group. The room was more like a cell! The bed was so close to the wardrobe that the latter could not really be used. The brocade wallpaper and drapes were overpowering and added to the gloom of the poor lighting. There was NO... more
