i was very dissapointed with this hotel there is no way it is a 4* more like a 2* very tatty, dirty walls and dirty paintwork. they would not provide an iron as it was against the regulations and the bar was shut on sundays so you couldnt even get a cup of tea we were glad to leave more

Perfect location on edge of park with views across to Vatican. Very friendly and helpful reception. Gret breakfast room on top floor looking over park. Very close to Spanish steps and local restuarants. Upgraded our room simply because one was available. more

The Hotel Elisco has a great location, but needs updating. We stayed in the first floor, so walking up the stairs was fine. Unfortunately, one of our rooms lacked double glazing, and the trash is picked up in Rome around 4AM. The rooms were generally OK, but needed new wall paper and repairs. Great location not to be beaten but does not deserve 4* status. Think opulent but very worn out.
