If you want a bad start to your vacation try this hotel. We reserved three rooms and they were all small, dirty and very tired. It was boiling hot in Rome and the airconditioning in one did not work. There was graffitti carved into the walls of the dirty elevator. The carpets were filthy and the paint was peeling off... more

Great location near the Spanish Steps. We stayed for four nights in mid March in a triple which really is a double with a twin bed(not a rollaway) brought in. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the street. It was a little loud at night with all of the Scottish Rugby fans in Rome. Since it was cold,... more

The hotel is not clean and smells of old, dirty carpets. The showers are cheap and badly fitted and leak all over the bathroom. The beds are too narrow. Breakfast is served on the cheapest of plastic plates. Two of the receptionists are o,k, but a third would do better as a prison guard. Seriously unwelcoming and slightly aggressive. The... more

My husband and I rencetly returned from our two week trip to Italy. We stayed four days at the Hotel Condotti and really enjoyed our stay. The best part of the hotel was the location. It is right near the Spanish Steps (which we thought was way overated) and the Via Condotti. There are tons of shops and restaurants in... more

You can't beat the location of this hotel. Right in the middle of the ancient city. A quirky little hotel. Yes the place is in need of some refurb, but its clean, and somehow you can't but be charmed by its little idiosyncrasies. We loved it for the money, what it lacks in facitlities it makes up in charm. The... more

Hotel Condotti is a very small hotel that offers a great location very close to the Spanish Steps and within walking distance to virtually everything you could want to see in Rome. Renaldo, who is quite often at the front desk in the afternoons and evening, is very friendly and very helpful with everything from making dinner reservations to offering... more

This is my favourite hotel in Rome because: 1 It has an excellent location just round the corner from the Pantheon on a cute little piazza - I can't think of anywhere better to be placed in Rome 2 It's very reasonably priced for its location 3 It's in a converted palace! The rooms have lovely high ceilings; the ones... more

The central location and the fact that it is in part of an old palace made it a good experience for my wife and I. It's really a pensione and not a hotel. It was part of our travel adventure to open the locked, massive 400 year old double doors to the building each evening and go up in the... more

The only advantage about the hotel was the location! My husband and I decided to spend our last 2 nights in Italy here at the annex of the Condotti Hotel called the Antica Condotti. It is actually steps from the Piazza di Spagna. When we arrived here at the annex, the door was locked and we had to ring the... more

The place is very old and needs a lot of work. The rooms are clean but do not expect air conditioning as they state. The breakfast is terrrible . The manager on duty first wanted to charge me 260 Euro then he went to 240 220 until I finally got him to agree to 200. Also when they tell you... more
