We stayed here from the 11th to 18th.Feb Its a shame it is run down. We found the staff very nice though and friendly especially the bar guy Roland. The bar was hardly opened though and there was no food at all in the evenings. My husband hurt his foot and could not walk far towards the end of our... more

This was a great hotel to stay in. They offered many facilities including internet, breakfast, a bar, ice, ironing, laundry service, et cetera. Our room had a private patio which was great for sipping some lemoncello on the warm summer evenings in Rome. The bathroom was huge and the service at the front desk was descent. The one downer about... more

When we arrived we had to wait for our room with no apology. The room was very basic and there was no info on the hotel. We were told we would have to send our clothes to laundry and pay to have them ironed but on the day before we left the information folder apeared and we found out we... more

We stayed in the Rivoli for 4 nights (Romantic weekend away following our recent wedding). The Hotel is down a pokey side street and has little to offer in the way of facilities. Luckily we found so much to do in Rome that we were hardly at the hotel. We ended up in a double (twin beds, we pushed them... more

We are a family and stayed there in two rooms, 801 and 802, for 5 nights. The bathrooms urgently need to be fixed. In our room, 802, not only the bathroom was old and looked dirty with stains of leak of water on the ceiling, but there was an ugly smell and water on the floor of the bathroom from... more

Oh and the tea and coffee making facilities took 4 days... more

Hotel Rivoli, Rome, Italy Date: 10th - 12th January 2005 Hotel Rivoli was situated in a safe residential area north of Villa Borghese, up a tight side street from main road and over looking a primary school and high school/college, so was very noisy. The rooms were decorated in very loud oriental design and the walls were padded, however the... more

I read some of the negative reviews on this Hotel and was somewhat dismayed as I had already booked and paid for my stay. Perhaps that was a good thing, as it turned out to be a pleasant stay. Tea, Coffee making facilities are available for free upon request, ask at reception before heading for your room. Room was cleaned... more

Nice, small hotel located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. More business-oriented than leisure-oriented. Many embassies in the nearby. Friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. Ask for rooms on the upper floors. Third floor is the best. Close to a couple of very good restaurants. Very close to the most important Park in Rome: Villa Borghese. Visit the Museo Borghese, a lovely... more

Hotel Rivoli is in a very interesting part of Rome. If you want to experience what life in Rome is like for natives, then stay here. There are good, authentic places to eat and the hotel has a good view of the residential areas from the balcony. The hotel is directly next to a junior high which is sometimes noisy.... more
