Service at the front desk and at breakfast was impeccable -- friendly, polite, helpful. Room was comfortable in an old-fashioned brocade-curtains, oriental rugs style. This charming hotel is everything that was described by other travelers. No need for public transportation or taxis - we could walk to all the major attractions. Over all our stay was pleasant here except for most of the staff. They didn't really seem to want to go out of there way for you at all, and in this economy, I'm surprised.
