Lovely hotel. Traditional & stylish. Very helpful & professional staff. Great location. The only problem was the noisy emptying of bottle bins outside v early in the morning. We stayed at same time as new prime minister was there so had some interesting chats with waiting photographers in street outside. Short walk to nearest metro. Good bars & restaurants a... More

Dear Sir/Madame, many thanks for your nice remarks... we are extremely happy that you appreciated our hotel and the services on offer. Regarding the emptying of bottles very early in the morning please note that we have already taken the matter up with the Rome Council AMA - it means Ama Roma or Love Rome! - and they promised us... This was a last minute reservation made on the day of our arrival and what a charming surprise. You can not beat the location, old charm and roof terrace of this hotel. From the decor to the staff this hotel will take you back in time, long before the hotel chains appeared and that is what make this hotel so special.... More

This hotel is on a side street just off the Flor de Imperiale which means that you are seconds from the Roman Ruins and you have direct views of the Forum (and the Colosseum) from your room. The hotel is lovely polished old carved wood both in the public areas and the rooms. The rooms are a tad small but... More

We stayed here at the end of October for my 50th birthday and was disappointed to get a twin room at the back of hotel even though we paid for a upgrade before we left but we managed to get a double the next day.You are definitely paying for the location as the rooms are not 4star standard. The roof top... We stayed at Hotel Forum for 6 great days. The location, near the Colosseum and Palatine Hill, is superb, allowing walking even to the Vatican (40 minutes). Our room (#204), although a little older, was comfortable, clean, roomy, and sufficiently quiet. The bathroom was fully modern and sparkling clean. The view right out the window directly across to the Roman... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel on our first visit to Rome. The hotel was in the best location to see all the wonderful sites of Rome. Although the hotel is old and rooms were small it was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The restaurant on the roof was fantastic (one of the best meals... More

We stayed for four nights at the hotel Forum in October. They upgraded our room for free just because they had it available. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I spent quite a few late night/ early mornings chatting with the overnight desk clerk. Our room was decent sized and directly overlooked the forum which was amazing! the breakfast... More

I am a retired, 72 year old, American who travelled recently to Italy. In October we stayed four nights at the Hotel Forum and one night at the Hotel Nerva. The two hotels are a few yards away. Both hotels have a great location, a helpful staff, comfortable European hotel rooms (smaller than most in the US at that price... More

I had booked this hotel restaurant for my wedding party. There were 20 of us and we were seated at a table amongst other diners. We were allowed to 'act' like it was our own restaurant though and have speeches throughout. The staff were brilliant, very efficient and friendly and we were delighted with the whole experience. We had been... More
