We stayed in the Hotel Mondial four nights before embarking on a Mediterranean cruise for our 50th anniversary. This hotel is located close to the train station, the subway, and numerous bus routes. There are numerous restaurants nearby. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is very nice; gluten free items were available, too. If you are looking for numerous amenities, this is not the place for you. more

This hotel is within walking distance from the train station, the subway, Trevi Fountain, Santa Maria Maggiore, etc. A good jumping point at a good price. My husband and I stayed at the Mondial for 4 nights in September. The location is excellent - just a few minutes walk from the train station, around the corner from the metro and from the hop-on hop-off bus stop and from McDonalds. About a 20 minute walk from the Colosseum and even closer to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon.... more

We stayed at this hotel for four night. Located in a great location. Its about 10 min walk from the termini train station. A 2 min walk from the Republica station which is one hop away on the metro from termini. tons of bus headed out to all sorts of locations in Rome stops nearby. Hotel overall is pretty average... more
