The hotel is located on Via Torino, a quiet street just 7-8 minutes walk from Roma Termini, Rome's main railway and bus terminal. It is also just steps away from the main bus line for tourists (#64) which takes you quickly to Vatican City. The property is well managed and is in immaculate condition, inside and out. For a 4-star... More

I stayed there 4 nights last week. The location of the hotel is very good, only few hundred meters from subway (Rebuplica square) and in walking distance to most of the sightseeings in the city center. The staff have EXCELLENT SERVICE ATTITUDE and they really give their best to make you enjoy your staying there. I think that has big... More

We booked this hotel because we were under the impression that we were getting a 4 star hotel....wow were we disappointed. There is nothing 4 star about those rooms. The carpet is from 1980 and the bathroom is from 1960. The shower curtain does not go the whole way around the tub so you get water everywhere. The water temperature... More

The hotel has two things working for it: the location (right near republicca station, and very near Termini station) and the excellent staff. They were all cheerful, funny, and plenty of help, and most important - spoke very good English. They booked restaurant reservations at our requests, answered every question we had, and gave us some tips on where locals... More

Clean, comfortable and near the train / bus station. This is a good hotel with good service. Staff were helpful. It might be a Best Western but there is nothing too generic and boring about this place (like most Best Westerns or hotel chains). It seems to be quite different. Our room was comfortable and clean although a little small.... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Mondial. Good location, near the metro and the train station was not too far away. We took the metro to the Vatican otherwise we walked everywhere (Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps). It was very convenient. The room was very large. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very modern. The breakfast was very... More

We stayed at the Mondial for one night , Aug.25th before leaving on a 10 day Cruise out of Civitavecchia. We enjoyed the hotel and the surrounding area, and decided to return for two more nights (Sept. 11th and 12th) following the cruise, and a week in Tuscany. We found the staff to be very helpful, especially Diego. The rooms... More

Recently stayed at this hotel before transferring to a cruise in Civitavecchia! The hotel was ideally situated for C. Rome/Termini etc & we got to see a couple of attractions; accomodation was ok but would have expected more from a 4 star; we have stayed at a Best Western before in UK & found them very comfortable.
