We just spent 3 nights in sunny Rome in early October. Hotel Luxor is well located, just off via Nazionale. Only 5 min walk from Termini and about 15 min walk to Trevi Fountain. The hotel room that we were given was very clean. The bathroom was spotless with lovely large soft white towels which were replaced every day. However,... more

We stayed at Hotel Luxor in Rome for 4 nights. Our room was fairly small, and the furnishings were a bit old, however, we found it clean, and the staff to be very nice. We did find the location to be great. It was a five minute walk to the Repubblica Metro station and less than ten minutes to the... more

This hotel is in a good price range for its location. The staff are very helpful and the rooms may be small, but they are very clean. The breakfast is not grand, but it does the job. Main attractions like the Colesseum and Trevi Fountain are in walking distance. I would stay here again! more

This hotel is in a great location and a good value for the price. It is within walking distance to the train station and all the major sites of Rome. The rooms were very clean and staff helpful. The biggest downside to this hotel is the room size. They are very small but for the price I felt like it... more

Stayed at this hotel first week in August. Good location- within walking distance of the main city attractions like Trevi fountain, Colloseum etc. However, be prepared to stay in a VERY small room, with even smaller bathroom (or rather- shower room). In fact the shower cabin was so tiny that my husband (medium-built, 6’ tall) could barely fit in there!... more

Hotel Luxor was a small little hotel. The location was great! It was right near the subway/train station. The staff was very nice and helpful! I would definately recomment this hotel if you don't mind VERY small rooms. more

We stayed in the marvellous Hotel Luxor, well located near the famous Spanish Stairs, the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, bus and subway,.... The staff was very friendly, the rooms very clean (although a little bit small, but no problem!) and soundproofed. Breakfast was also enough (cappucino, tea, croissants, cornflakes, cakes,....). We only forgot an Italian electricity plug for the battery... more

Hotel Luxor is a wonderful little hotel. The location is perfect, walking distance to the Forum, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc. We had two different rooms. The first was very pretty with high ceiling, deep plaster moulding, nicely decorated, good street view. We had a last minute reservation and unfortunately had to switch rooms but the second room... more

I could not disagree more on the bad review on the Luxor Hotel in Rome. I had a very, very pleasant staying and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the extremely helpful and caring staff. I'd gladly reccommend the Hotel Luxor as a top destination in Rome. Just my two cents. Cheers, Goffredo, Paris, France more
