We stayed at the Hotel Imperiale from May 14 - 20. Pros - Location is good for walking to attractions, Termini, etc... Cons - Building is run down and unkept. Beds were very hard, pillows were cheap. Breakfast was fair to poor. Standard room was very small - no dresser or place to put suitcases ! Tub leaked every day.... More

I've been to Imperiale many time during my business trips to Rome. I did try a few others but ib became my default from a few reasons: It was very well located. it's not close to many of the attractions but close enough with a long walk. it is very close to a taxi station and to the main road... This was our first visit to rome and we stayed at 4 night. The place is perfect. There is a metro station at the foot of the street (50 meters from the hotel), which can take you anywhere around the city. The hotel is a 7 minute walk from the spanish steps and 5 minutes from Fontana di Trevi .... More

The place is perfect (10 minutes from the spanish steps and 5 minutes from Fontana di Trevi by foot), staff very friendly (can advise where to eat, what to see, where to drink etc), breakfast is rich, rooms very clean (I assume they change the bed sheets each single day) but a bit small. The only negative is that you... More
