We stayed at the Hotel Imperiale October 6-10 2007, it was a good hotel! The location is right on the historic Via Veneto, and it has a lot to see right within walking distance. Just up the block is Villa Borghase, amazing museum-book ahead- and down the block is piazza Barbirini, stop in at this great little wine shop just... more

The Hotel is needing some reforms in all its installations, very old, high tarifs for what offer. Reception desk very delayed in the attendance. The charged tarif for car parking are very very hight. The rooms need urgent repair or change all their air conditioned system. more

The Hotel Imperiale has a staff and management that build their business on robbing their customers. Be sure that when you book this hotel and need to cancel, you will never be able to. The management will tell you that it was not done in the proper way or that they did not receive it via the proper website (although... more

I have stayed in Rome before, so knew that any of the rooms in Rome would not be overly large. I took my friend for her first trip to Rome. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes from the Spanish Steps and walkable to the Vatican. If you are intending to visit, your best bet is to... more

When we arrived at 4.30pm the room was not ready we assured it would be ready in 15 minutes, we had to wait 90 minutes! The room was tiny we had to creep around the bed. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful all the time, only the concierge Mr Joseph was polite or friendly. and the porter. The breakfast... more

Returned from Imperiale after knowledge of some negative reviews. My impression was this Hotel is a comfortable haven after the bustle of Rome. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom marble with a good bath/shower. No complaints there. The bar and lounge was also sufficient for a quiet drink but expensive ( as is London) . The comments on breakfast... more

We were looking forward to staying at the imperiale as we paid £120 a night and stayed for 3 nights. When we got there, the hotel is in a prime location being on Via Veneto which we were presently suprised about as its only a 5 minute walk to the spanish steps and then you have everything near to you.... more

We stayed here for 4 nights arriving Boxing Day.We had stayed at this hotel before(5 years ago) and had been impressed. We requested the same room but on arrival were told that it was not available. We were given a very small room overlooking the Via Veneto.Apart from the room size we were happy - clean, nicely furnished, jacuzzi bath.Road noise did... more

Very traditional style hotel . Situated well for visiting sights particularly Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Good position also for metro and bus access. We requested a room at the back of the hotel which they obliged, and it was great, quiet (amazing for Rome) spacious, and very clean and well maintained. The room and reception service was very good and helpful. We... more
