Opera Went to Rome with a budget airline on a budget price and stayed at the Giglio Dell Opera. Our hotel room was clean and tidy but the ceiling leaked water in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok with a small choice of food and drink. The staff that we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit tired but... more

It's just a so so hotel within Termini Station area. Being a 3.5star rated hotel (at least that's what I have heard from booking agency), the hotel does not meet my expectation. Worst thing was the room door does not filter any noise from the stairways and corridors. However, though our room was facing the street, we were not bothered... more

Avoid ! Stayed there in August 07 for one night . Booked the hotel through the tourist office in Rome 2 weeks before. Booked 2 rooms as was told no large rooms available that could take 2 adults and 3 children. Arrived at hotel and told that the only had one average size room available for 5. Also told that... more

I've been to Rome twice and Europe in general 4 times and this hotel was absolutely fabulous. It is comfortable and a great price. The staff was so accomodating and friendly. For example, we left our camera at the restaurant late at night. We needed a cab right away but didnt have any money (we hadn't gone to the ATM... more

We just spent several days at this hotel. I didn't realize that I had $100 in American dollars stolen from my belongings until I had left there (since I was only using Euro, I didn't check until I was on the train heading to Florence). I was very upset. The bathroom had mold all over the shower, the room was... more

This hotel was WAY too expensive for what I got. They were under construction in the hallway - paint, tools, noise and dirt everywhere. There was no hot water in the shower (and I even got to change rooms, no difference, same at night and in morning). The internet didn't work. The air conditioning didn't work. The only thing I... more

This was our first trip to Rome. We were shocked at how expensive the hotels were, so we settled for a middle-of-the-road, close to Termini. The bed was hard and lumpy and we had back aches each morning. The bathroom was in disrepair (broken tiles, clogged sink, lights with no covers) and the shower was grossly overrun with mold. I... more

Unless you enjoy waking up in the middle of the night with dozens of itchy bite marks and bugs crawling all over you, DO NOT stay at this hotel. more

When I had to get a room in Rome unexpectedly, I stayed here because of it's close proximity to Termini. However, after booking and paying for two nights stay at a reasonable price, I was informed the next morning that the clerk at the desk had made a mistake and charged me the wrong amount. I wound up paying nearly... more
