comfortable rooms - clean, small bathtub, comfortable bed (firm), satellite TV (took some tweaking to get satellite channels to work initially), quiet, lift does not go to the street level so be prepared to haul your luggage up a long flight of stairs, good breakfast (boiled eggs, meats, yogurt, cheese, buns, pastries, fresh fruit, juices), free wifi, fee for the... more

We stayed for 5 nights in Hotel Lirico and are very satisfied. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a good breakfast. The location near the Termini is also good for people arriving by train. We enjoyed our stay very much and will surely book this hotel again. more

The hotel is in a great location, particularly if you are traveling to or from Rome by train. The hotel staff were very welcoming and the reception staff excellent . The single rooms in particular are of a good standard and very comfortable. more

The hotel was located close to Roma Termini, next to the Opera House. I would suggest buying a map of Rome (with landmarks) to get around prior to arrival as Rome can be hard to navigate, and streetnames aren't always obvious. There are a couple flights stairs you must climb prior to reaching reception and the elevator, so be aware... more

My husband and I just returned after spending a week in Hotel Lirico. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel. The location is great. Just a few minutes walk from Termini train station and only 15 to 20 minutes walk to all the main attractions. The bus to the Vatican can be picked up on the next street. The hotel... more

Having done my research before booking, i got more than I was expecting. Very friendly staff, more than adequate choices at breakfast. Ideally situated for all the major sights. Great base for sightseeing. Small compact rooms, but excellent standard of decor. I WILL definitely use again. more

Just come back from 4 nights at the Lirico, and it was great, lovely staff, room was spotless and a very comfortable bed, quiet room, great view, lovely breakfast. One thing, make sure you ask for a Cappachino or an expresso, or you get weak coffee. Great location, within easy walking distance off all the main tourist sites. About 10... more
