Not too far a walk from the Termini which was a nice plus for the hotel. Checkin was very easy and the people were friendly. A couple of problems were that hotel does not have a lift. This to us wasnt to much of a problem however if you have a room in the 200s expect to go up 2... more

Rome hotels tend to be quite expensive, so planning a trip may depend on your budget. For €160 a nite, we expected a little more comfort, but then again, we did get quite a good location. The hotel is a short 5 mins walk from Termini, although the first night you may be advised to get a taxi even from... more

Good location - just a five minute walk from the Termini train station and the Metro. The Colosseum/Forum/Palatine Hill is just fifteen minutes walk away and the Vatican is only forty five minutes walk away. There are plenty of resturants near to the hotel, with a lovely ice cream shop next door and Internet cafe also next door. I was... more

First the minuses...The breakfast could be better, no fresh fruit, no cuts of meat and no eggs. It also does not have a lift which could be a problem if you have a room on the upper floors. And the pluses...it is very reasonable, clean, airconditioned and well maintained. And the location is fantastic - almost next to the Basilica... more

Location is this hotel's best asset. You can easily walk to the Collosseum and Forum, and metro is just two blocks away, to take you to parts of Rome you don't want to walk to - so it's very convenient. Beds were extra comfortable, just what we needed after hours of walking through Rome, bathroom was somewhat small, and the... more

We stayed in a spacious 5th floor room (was a triple really) which was in a residential building next door to the hotel reception. There was no lift which wasn't a problem for us. There were four rooms in a separate corridor on this floor so it was secure. The shower room was tiny and the shower was very small... more

Nice hotel for the price (August 2004 about 75 euros/night). Shower was very very small and the room was modest. There was small fridge which was nice when temp was outside +30C. Room had aircon, separate machine, quite loudy but did the work good enough and was easy to use with remote. Our room was in the first floor with... more

A good location, but the rooms were a grungy. There was an old sock (not mine!!) on the floor of my room for the three days I was there. The room needed a good paint job to get rid of all the dirt on the walls, and the bedspread was threadbare and stained. Request a room that isn't by the... more

I stayed at the Hotel Giubileo in February 2005. The hotel is in a convenient location, just down the street from Santa Maria Maggiore. It's within very easy walking distance of the Termini train station and the Metro. The entire staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel is clean and well maintained and the front desk staff is very... more
