Part of a group which includes the pricey Columbus near Vatican City, but none the worse for that. I have stayed here half a dozen times. Having read previous reviews, I had our concierge in another city call the King ahead of time to specifically request a renovated room, as that seemed to be the ticket to a pleasant stay at the King. If you want a lavish place to stay, this is not the place. However, if you want great value, friendly staff, and a super location, this is just fantastic. We walked to Trevi, the Spanish Steps, great shopping, and the Metro. The continental breakfast was just fine. more

The location of the hotel could not be better; close to the metro station, sights and cheap and good places to eat and do shopping (near Trevi fountain).
