My wife and I stayed here for two nights and can't say a bad word against it. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Quick to point you in the right direction for what ever it may be. The beds are by far the most comfortable I have ever slept in apart from my own at home. My only problem was... More

We stayed at the Mascagni Hotel during Christmas. The hotel service has great. The Gentleman at the front desk were both very helpful. The breakfast had a great variety and it was very good. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were large. They provide you with a code in order to use one of their computer stations. The location... More

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Mascagni in January and it lived up to our expectations gained from reading other reviews on this site. The hotel web site gives an accurate description and our room was like the one shown in the photographs. We booked a taxi from the airport online before we left and it cost 40 euro,... More

Downsides Terrible wifi did not work in room. Had to use common areas, and you have to go to the frnt desk to get a new code every hour. Staff knew very little, not even the schedules of major attractions. We lost out on some experiences because of their misinformation. We asked for restaurant recommendations and were constantly told to... More

This place exceeded our expectations! My wife and I traveled to Rome for her 60th birthday. A friend (who lives in Rome) dropped off a couple bottles and a fruit basket for us. He must of made a great impression 'cause they upgraded us to a lovely room with a balcony on the 4th floor. The room was kept immaculate.... More

Spent 8 nights here at the end of November.   Great location, very helpful staff.  Our  room may have been one of the best they have,  on the 4th floor with a small balcony on the quiet side of the building.  After moving  on to Florence and Venice, we can look back and say that the Mascagni's included breakfast was... Had a 3 night stay. Check in good. Room quite compact but was subjected to renovation building noise from adjacent building until after 9.30 PM. We did get a room change the next day, but would have been nice on the day when I first raised my concern but apparently the hotel was full! The concierge also made the point... More

Although some of the rooms are a little on the small side I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The hotel itself was gorgeous, clean with amazing customer service and wonderful breakfast. I loved this hotel's position, which is close by to some amazing eateries and the tour office. Try the pasticceria and gelato shop close by which is amazing!!! I will... More

Took up a previous recommendation and asked for a room at the back of the hotel. We got 203 - high ceiling, balcony overlooking the back of St Bernard's church, huge and firm bed. From check in to check out, the staff were helpful and efficient: letting me print museum vouchers from their office when the guest computer/printer was temporarily... More
