Great location for seeing Vatican and area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok ,not gourmet but enough to keep you going. Rooms are basic no frills, fine for a short stay when you're out and about. Overall good value for money, good location ideal for weekend break. More

When you are arriving to Sant Angelo hotel from Fiumicino airport best way is with shuttle bus. Station of shuttle bus is just out of Terminal 3 at Fiumicino airport. Company name is SIT shuttle bus and price per person (one way) is 8 Euro. It stops at Piazza Cavour – 5 min walking distance from hotel Sant Angelo. Time... More

Fantastic location and absolutely value for money. Friendly staff. Only negative experience we had was that the airconditioning didnt work properly in winter. Otherwise only compliments to the hotel and staff for our wonderful stay. More

Sir, We're very happy for your satisfaction, we're also glad that you enjoyed our wonderful location and our friendly staff, even though the little inconvenient about the a.c. (now properly fixed). We truly hope you'll soon be our guest again. Kind regards More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel 7-11 Dec 2011. Good time of year to visit Rome as tourist attractions not so busy, hardly any queues. We were very impressed with hotel and its locations - within walking distance of the Vatican. Our room was clean and of a good standard. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a... More

My wife & I stayed here from the 14th to the 18th of Nov. & we found it to be excellent for what we paid, at the end of the day we did not pay for the Ritz so do not expect Ritz standards. We checked in & found the guy on the desk to be really helpful but were... More

Rating this hotel is really conflicting. I must say it has a rather good location, if not the best, within walking distance from major attractions and a few blocks away from some good restaurants. Also, some of the night staff were very nice. However, there were many things that outweighed the good points Among them: 1. We stayed at the... More

Stayed here for five nights in September. I had stayed here previously, this together with the price and the location made the choice straight forward. I stayed in the Annex along the road from the main hotel building. The room was very clean, decent size with a reasonable bathroom. It had efficient air conditioning and for €95 per night for... It is a good location from the vatican but when we arrived the receptionist is not entertaining well even to tell us to sit down because we are exhausted from the journey and bringing our lugguage to the hotel room that there is no lift in going to reception but you step with a more flight of stairs to arrived... So. This hotel. I don't even know where to start, because I'm still conflicted on whether it was decent or not. The pros: They have a couple of staff members (two that worked the night shift, one was a lovely blond girl during the day) who were incredibly nice and helpful. They called taxis for us, carted our bags up... More
