Hotel has an excellent location. The Vatican is a short walk one way, and the centre or Rome is a short walk the other way. The hotel itself is adeuqate but nothing special. Bed ok, bathroom very small. If you are an overweight American (or any other nationality) then avoid this hotel. Otherwise the location makes it a very good... more

What a disappointing hotel... I agree with previous reviews that the location is superb but there are much better hotels in the same area. We stayed 5 nights and our room was tiny. The bathroom was so small I would doubt that a person with a slightly larger than normal size, could get into the shower. Big problems to be... more

Just spent five nights in Rome at hotel Sant Angelo. Location was just amazing....walked everywhere and never had to use public transport except on last day when we took the number 110 bus (open-topped sight-seeing bus) to give our legs a rest! Hotel was lovely. I was apprehensive, especially after reading some of the negative comments on the website but,... more

We decided on staying here ,after reading other reports on Tripadvisor. After reading reports on Hotels near termimi,we wanted somewhere within easy reach to all main attractions ,without using public transport and found Sant Angelo fitted the bill perfectly. After arriving by pre-booked taxi at 11.00 am,asked if we could leave luggage until we could check -in ,but was told room... more

Nice quite location. It is about a 20 minute walk to Forum and sites but subway is only 10 minute walk. We found the hotel to be quite itself, breakfast was excellent, with many options in a large sunny room. Not sure where some people who reviewed stayed but there are two nice large reception sitting areas. Each room is... more

This is a small hotel in a very old building. I would choose this hotel for location alone. Any of the major sites are easily within 20 minutes walking distance from this hotel, therefore no worries about public transport while staying there. rooms small but quite adequate, spotless clean. The staff at reception are most helpful. The breakfast although continental... more

Although the rooms were small, the location was excellent! a short stroll to the main streets, shops and sights. I stayed here 3 times purely because i knew i was going to get good value for money, and it was convenient. You could easily walk everywhere from this hotel. The rooms were very clean also. more

Staff very helpful. Hotel disappointing. Bedroom extremely small but clean. Very noisy from outside and from adjoining bedroom. Could hear people talking in next door bedroom. Bathroom (no bath, shower only) extremely small. Shower door fell off twice and toilet did not always flush properly. Poor selection for breakfast. Website photos very deceiving. No sign of large reception room and... more

Hotel Santangelo is a small hotel in the south Sardinia. We found it just driving on the east coast road. The building is tipical with red stones walls and some wood ceiling. Very clean, with air conditioning and nice toilettes. The rooms are huge, in a standard double room you can add other 2 beds for children without problems. The... more

Would I stay here again? Yes, but for much less. For less than $200. $150 seems reasonalbe for Rome, but we ended up paying 2x that. I'm talking dollars here, not euros. The Good stuff was: 1. The service was good. I always felt I could approach them for about anything if I wanted. Our first morning there we kept... more
