The hotel is a little way from the main tourist areas, in a quiter area of the city. There where plenty of bus stops near by and the Metro is about 10mins walk away. It is about 20mins walk to Trvei Fountain and 30mins to the Colosium. The hotel is clean and modern with a very ¨gold and glitz¨style. Our... More

Quaint ! Yes the rooms are a little small by American standards and expectations, but queen bed was very comfortable, pillows and sheets were luxurious. Desk staff was always attentive and helpful all 7 days stayed at the Hotel. Breakfast was european continental, as expected and fresh daily. All great here for $140 eu per night end of April 2013.... The service at this smallish hotel is excellent from the greeting to the goodbye. Our room, though small was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was generous, with excellent pastries, cakes and breads and of course the heart-starting espresso. A great entree into Rome.

Everything in this hotel was at moderate level. I personally prefer this kind of hotels - with no surprises, because they can be not pleasant one from time to time. Breakfasts quality was below average. Rooms are in the Renaissance style which I personally do not like. Not many well-rated restaurants nearby but you can find some in about 1... More

I was travelling with my husband and two friends (two ladies). Our room (a double one) was OK, not very large but klean and nice. The room were my friends stayed (a twin bed room) was too small (they could hardly get around - and they are thin) and had no place to hang the towels in the bathroom, nor... More

The room was nice size with a large bath. Shower water kept occillating from hot to cold, but other then that it was okay. Near restaurants and main roads it was easy walking to nearby metro and bus lines. Breakfast was okay but if you wanted something more substantial, i.e. eggs, bacon, etc, it cost extra. Room had only central... More

Room was clean, breakfast was good, kitchen staff nice and kind, some reception staff very helpful, others aren't. In the first morning, just by coincidence, I found out that my family and I had no free breakfast. I approached reception, presented the booking paper from Hotwire which clearly had free breakfast in it, and was given the following answer by... More

Dear guest, we are sorry about the problems that you encountered during your stay. The breakfast issue wasn't your problem, but was depending from a wrong comuncation from Hotwire to the Hotel. That's why we had some problem to understand what's happened, and that's why we included the breakfast in your reservation. We usually respond to the email within 1... More

Just back from Hotel Veneto and I was not disappointed. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left all the staff were extremely helpful. The reception staff were willing to help with any queries about directions and would also make table reservations for dinner and both restaurants recommended to us were superb. The other staff members were polite... More

We stayed at the Hotel Veneto in March 2013. It was good value, clean, safe and had very helpful staff. It is maybe not in the most exciting area, and the room was a bit small and hot, but overall, a good experience.

We recently spent a few days at this hotel and found it to be a comfortable base from which to explore Rome. The front desk were very helpful with tour advice and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. They also told us about a number of good restaurants nearby at which to eat dinner after a long day sight... More
