Quaint ! Yes the rooms are a little small by American standards and expectations, but queen bed was very comfortable, pillows and sheets were luxurious. The service at this smallish hotel is excellent from the greeting to the goodbye. Our room, though small was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was generous, with excellent pastries, cakes and breads and of course the heart-starting espresso. A great entree into Rome.

Everything in this hotel was at moderate level. I personally prefer this kind of hotels - with no surprises, because they can be not pleasant one from time to time. We stayed at the Hotel Veneto in March 2013. It was good value, clean, safe and had very helpful staff. It is maybe not in the most exciting area, and the room was a bit small and hot, but overall, a good experience.
