We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gambrinus Rome. Fabio and the other staff were very welcoming and friendly, and easily arranged for a taxi to pick-up and drop-off at the airport. Booked a classic double room, plenty of space and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet selection available at sensible hours. Bit of a walk to / from the city... More

We stayed here for three nights from 29th Jan. We were a party of six visiting Rome for my wife's birthday. The hotel is in a decent location, it's walking distance from the Termini, Spanish Steps & the Trevi Fountain (about 20-30 mins from each). The rooms were very nice, small but clean and equiped with everything you need, very... More

We are just back from a four night stay at Hotel Gambrinus. We received a friendly welcome and were immediately given a map of Rome on which the reception staff marked the hotel and all the main sites, including bus numbers and metro details. Really useful. The bedroom was clean and fair size with a brilliantly comfortable bed and excellent... More

First of all, if you minimize your expectation, it could be a great stay. The rooms are small but well furnished with the basic amenities. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. A bit rusty looking hallway but it goes fine with the price you pay, as its sort of budget hotel. The best part is, the hotel is ideally located.... More

My girlfriend and I travelled to Rome just recently and had a really great time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent but not great, but there was plenty of it. The rooms were pretty small, but very clean and we werent in the room for very long anyway, so it was fine for us. The... More

The Hotel is located in a quiet area not far from the Termini Station. The rooms were pleasant and the service was impeccable for a hotel of this size. Victoria and Roberta at the reception were exceptionally efficient and very pleasing to converse with. They were well versed with the local transport systems and provided clear directions to the various... More
