The hotel itself was situated in the heart of Rome and very close to the Colosseum and other attractions. Also the train station was very close so for those who like to travel to other parts of Italy, this is a great location. The room was quite small, but we survived. Sometimes you could feel the metro under your feet... More

Clean, functional and central. We had a quadruple bedroom (not facing the street which admittadly we were relieved about). Good value for money and within easy wlking distance of termini station (for the airport) and all the sights. Perfectly eadible breakfast included in the price. More

We’ve stayed in this hotel from Oct 15th to 17th, 2011. We paid around $400 US for 2 people/2 nights + breakfast. The room was very small but very clean. Washroom was quite big, newly renovated with a shower (no bath tab) and bidet. Location of the hotel is great! About 10 min walk to Termini Station (with direct train... More

A real nice stay in Rome in this hotel for a lovely breakdown with my wife. The forecast was extremely nice and sunny for Rome and we decided to have a lastminute breakdown, so we booked the flight and this hotel the day befaore to travel. The hotel is nice, well located and extremely clean. Excellent room, enough big, very... More

We stayed here for too many nights. Yes the hotel is located in the heart of Rome. Just 10 minutes walk to the Colloseum 5 minutes walk to the main train station. Room is quite small for a 3 star hotel. Toilet/shower room is very tiny as well. Towels are not changed everyday, which is a bit surprising. When we... More

Dear Sir, we are sorry for the negative experience you had in our Hotel. Despite we try always to improve our service to make the guest's stays the most comfortable, in this case something did not work properly. About the size of the room we need to point that all our rooms are the size requested by the Italian local... More

We had booked a double room and paid in advance. When they showed us to our room it was tiny with a single bed!!!!! I complained to the front desk and they said they just didn't have a double room for us (so annoying and unprofessional) for that night, so they squeezed a cot into the room. on the second... More

The hotel is located very close to Termini, Colosseum and city center. There are 2 bus stops located almost in front of hotel - with the buses you can go directly to Piazza Venezia and Largo Chigi. The underground station is in 3 minutes walk. We stayed 3 nights, the first night in a suite, the other two in a... More

Having again read the reviews of the hotel at tripadvisor, I am wondering if my wife and I stayed at the same hotel as most of the reviewers here. Yes, it is a very good location, especially if you are travelling in and out of Rome by train. The breakfast was surprisingly good for an Italian hotel (and we've been... More

We were given a room at this hotel after our original hotel had a problem. The location of Hotel Borromeo is excellent, within easy walking distance of Termini, down via Cavour just past Santa Maria Maggiore. The room was small, but nicely tiled. The bathroom was clean. Breakfast is included, and is served on the third floor terrace, so you... More
