I stayed at Ripa two weeks ago with my mom and sister on a girls weekend to Rome...easy access to the other side where all the major attractions are; takes you only 10 minutes with the tram...very close location to the restaurants area in Trastevere...large rooms and comfy which is a rarity among 4 star hotels in Rome...you actually like... more

I was placed in an "extension room" rather than what they call an "executive suite" as I booked through Hotels.com and not directly through hotel Ripa. Their extension rooms are in terrible condition with stained worn out carpet, terrible showers, and hard beds. The regular executive rooms seem ok.
