We tried to change the date for the booking and they want to charged us for 3000 NOK (250 EUR). The cost for 1 night for each person (we was 4 person) The date for the booking was 3 months before the date for our travel. We should not cancel the trip only change the date. more

We stayed for two nights and got a lovely superior room for no extra cost. It had a kingsize bed, a jacuzzi bath (albeit quite small), a sofa bed for our son, a parquet floor, a beautiful rug and lovely sumptious looking curtains. Although the Ambra Palace is not in the best area of Rome, 5 mins walk away and the sights of Rome are upon you. The hotel was a lovely place to stay, small very friendly clean and nice decor. I can recommend this to anyone to stay at in Rome, but remember for Rome you will need good walking legs.... more
