Since my husband and I had been to Rome several times , we wanted to stay where we could walk to just about everything. We definitely made the right choice. During our week's stay, we found nothing to complain about. Our double room was large, had 2 balconies which faced the Borghese gardens and had a large bathroom. Our room... more

I really liked the Hotel Victoria, only around the corner from the top of the spanish steps, yet in a nice and quiet/relaxing part of Rome. The rooms are small but spotless and modern and everything is within easy reach. The open bus tour is a must..it brings you to all the main attractions. The reception staff were extremely helpful... more

I booked this hotel because of the positive reviews on TripAdvisor. My experience did not have any of the positive points discussed. We had mold on our shower curtain, mold on the bathroom tiles, and rickety lamps with non-working bulbs. Our view was of a wall on the building next door (even though I had specifically requested that we not... more

We had a couple of issues with this hotel, and we definitely did not get our money's worth. We stayed here for three nights and paid about $530 for all 3 nights. This hotel is categorized as a 4-star in expedia, but it does not come close! We thought the hotel had been remodeled, that may have been a long... more

I was a little hesitant after reading a couple of the previous reviews. I had NOTHING to worry about. We had a wonderful stay. The location was excellent. We were less than one minute's walk from Via Veneto (a street filled with shops, restaurants, etc.) and about a five minute's walk from the train station. We took the train almost... more

Arrived with my wife for a week and had a great time. The location is very good. a 5 minutes walk from the busy center so it's quite but not remote. 50m from the lovely via Veneto, and in fron of ancient wall of Rome. The staff very friendly and most of them speak English. The room was quite small... more

My room was clean and comfortable with crisp bed linen. In many ways the hotel is similar in standard to the nearby Westin Excelsior, where I have stayed before, but at a much lower price. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and made me feel genuinely welcome. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the Villa Borghese and Via... more

i went a couple of times in this hotel and i have to say that it did not surprise me too much but also i cannot say that it doesn't deserve 4 stars. I have to say that i'm a business traveller and the fact of not having a wireless connection irritated me a lot. However, this is very common... more

Hotel Victoria is in a great location, steps from the Via Veneto and not far from several main tourist attractions in Rome. The staff was friendly for the most part and they served a very nice buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. Our room was very spacious which was welcome as we had a port-a-crib in the room with us.... more

We stayed in the Hotel Victoria from Nov2 to Nov 5 2008 ahead of a cruise. The location was great. Walking distance to most major sites, Colosseum, Trevie,Spanish Steps, etc. Staff were very helpful in giving directions, taxies, places to eat and putting up with endless questions. The bartender in the main bar was a great guy. Breakfast buffet was more... more
