Yes the pool area is nice - albeit with v poor and slow service. The hotel is dated, and the worst Leading Hotels i have ever stayed at. Our room was roadside and v noisy. fast, friendly service from checkin to checkout. Upgrades granted almost always with breakfast staff friendly and courteous. Never noisy. Have a cappuccino ! We stayed here for 4 nights as a family and we all loved this hotel. In a nice, quiet area but a half hourly courtesy shuttle takes you to the Spanish Steps in the centre in 15 minutes or so. Some people have criticised this but we found as long as you remember to book the return you are fine!... More
