Our travel agent recommended this hotel as being a good value for the money in a big city like Rome. We had the same issue as other travelers. This hotel is in a residential area. There supposedly is a train station close - - but it has been closed for construction for awhile so that wasn't an option. The shuttle... more

My husband and I took a weeklong trip to Rome and our goal was to see as much as possible each day. Once we left the hotel for the day, we were out until after dinner. So with that in mind, the location (quiet neighborhood just north of Villa Borghese - Rome's equivalent of Central Park) wasn't an issue because... more

In all aspects this hotel did not live up to it's higher end rating. The service was mediocre with the staff not seeming to care about your needs at all. The rooms and bathrooms are quite dated and aged. The bed and pillows are horribly uncomfortable. The shuttle service is poorly organized and drops you off at a location quite... more

We stayed for 3 nights in this luxury hotel in a suburb of Rome. It was very nicely decorated and really felt 4*. The people were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfasts. Linen sheets, tons of towels, super clean. It is out of the way though and the shuttle is limited - they really... more

This hotel is just a tiny bit off the beaten track - but not to worry - we loved this place, quiet residential neighborhood, nice little restaurants just around the corner, hotel shuttle will take you the 5 minute ride to and back from the center of the city, fantastic breakfast - with Prosecco!!! Staff very friendly, helpful. Would definitely... more

If you don't mind being a little out of the hot spots then this hotel is excellent value. Service and breakfast were great. Rooms were spacious and spotless. Would definately return. If I had one complaint it is that they should run the shuttle more frequently as the drop off spot is less than 10 mins from the hotel. more

We read a lot of reviews on the Roman hotels and chose this one for a 5 night break. we were not disappointed. The rate through the internet was great for B&B although it is expensive once you get there if you want a cocktail or dinner. There is a supermarket just round the corner though which is handy for... more

For the price, this hotel near the Borghese Park is hard to beat. The staff couldn't be nicer of more helpful. The only real problem is the location which is quite far from the usual tourist attractions in the city center. The hotel does run a 7 passenger bus every 45 minutes or so to a street not far from... more

I stayed in the Duke Hotel for 11 nights. The room was compact but very clean- the bathroom was the largest I have seen outside a 5 star hotel in Europe. The breakfast (included) was great. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly with excellent English- nothig was too much trouble- highly recommended for business or pleasure. more

would recommend this hotel to anyone who has booked a short stay in rome. The rooms are very pretty and immaculate. The hotel is in a residential area approx. 5 min from the centre of rome, but you can walk which takes about 30 min or jump a taxi. Breakfast was lovely and the staff very friendly and could not... more
