This is a great hotel to base your stay visiting rome. The rooms are very comfortable, decorated in traditional Italian style. Great views from the restaurant on the top floor. This is the place to stay in Rome. More

I am a Platinium A-Club Member and honestly I don't know if this people are traveling often but this hotel is definately not a 5*...and for sure not a Boutique Hotel! Room 609 is an excellent luxury room with a wonderful view across the city from Borghese Park past St. Peter's Basilica. It has 2 small balconies. Sometimes, paying extra to stay in a good hotel really is worth it. Every Sofitel I have stayed in so far demonstrates this. Rome meets the high standards. The staff are excellent. Polite, attentive, multi-lingual and extremely helpful. Restaurant recommendations and reservations, taxi bookings, tourist guide bookings - all from the front desk, as though nothing is too much trouble.... More

Great location! Our room was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the street, very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was the best I've seen in Europe!! The entire staff was friendly, courteous, polite and helpful...really 5 star service! This is a top notch operation, you won't be disappointed. We loved Rome and will visit again! Thank you Sofitel!! Lovely building, attentive staff. Gym needs beter equipment with more variety. Menu should change between meals and days. I would have eaten there more often, but had already tried everything that interested me after 2 meals. More
