Perfect location, friendly staff, very nice breakfast room in top floor. Quite nice rooms (we got an upgrade to Junior Suite - no extra charge). Eight years ago we stayed at Barberini Hotel. We were very satisfied then, we have been in Rome after that, but this time we wanted to get back "in old tracks". And the hotel was... More

I'm not reinventing the wheel with this review, but I thought it helpful to share my experience. UPSIDES: Central location, access to Metro, lots of eateries nearby (some are hit or miss) Excellent rooftop buffet breakfast, great views of the city (with St Paul’s in the distance), and exceptionally attentive staff at breakfast. You can also request a rooftop dinner... More

We stayed here for only one night after spending 2 weeks in Rome, Amalfi Coast and Taormina. If I had known how nice it was, we would have stayed here instead of our other hotel in Rome. This was for the night before our flight back to NJ. Immediately they upgraded us to a luxury suite giving us more room... More

We really liked the hotel and location. Very close to the metro, so easy access to everything. Lots of good restraunts in the area. The greakfast was very good. The only negative was there was a big difference in how they treated business people versus tourists. The business people were traeted very warmly, but they could not be bothered with... More

Loved it. Gorgeous view of the City for breakfast and close to a metro stop and many attractions. Would definitely stay there again if we go back to Rome. Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly. We left for a couple of days and left our main luggage in the room with no problems.

The Barberini is in a fantastic location, both for attractions such as Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps and the Metro station and tourist buses. Rooms small (as all in Rome are) but well equipped, clean and tidy. Maid was attentive, to the point of removing soap every day and replacing with new one, which I felt was unnecessary. Think a... Dear Guest, Following your review, we drew your advice to the attention of the owner, so we are working to have a new policy focused on the respect to the environment. In reference to our Bar service on the roof-top, it provides for a peculiar working time. From Sunday to Wednesday, the service is upon request. From Thursday to Saturday,... More

Hotel Barberini isn't perfect , but it definitely has some great things going for it. The breakfast was plentiful, varied and fresh.
