The staff are great and will give you maps and bus directions to use in the city. The prostitutes are an absolute pain as you try to get back to the hotel from the local bus stop, they won't move to let you go past and the area has rubbish and old needles around. Not to be reccommended if you... more

Express by Holiday Inn East in Rome is out in the middle of nowhere. We booked there because they claim to have a free shuttle bus every 30 mins to the nearest Metro. For the duration of our stay there was no shuttle bus in operation, although the hotel did on one occasion pay for a taxi to the metro which cost them... more

I would recommend this hotel as a “pit stop” on a road trip rather than a place to stay when visiting Rome. We spent a fortune on Taxis over the few days we were there, the price depending on the route / driver / time it was €20-€30 each way getting to the city centre and €75 from the Airport.... more

The Hotel is in the middle of a vast empty area surrounded by freeways, huge electrical towers and nothing else. Except for Maria ...who usually works in the late evenings ... all the lobby folks were rude and unprofessional. Girls specially working in the morning are more focused on make ups and having good time with other hotel staffers rather... more

Terrible location. Air-conditioning was not on even tho it was warm for October. Shuttle bus times are limited - no afternoon service. Local bus stop is a distance away. Breakfast buffet runs out of eggs early in the morning. Area is under construction - so there is noise all day.......also near a concert tent....of course a concert was in full... more

We found this hotel to be just what we needed. We travelled with two very small children and the staff were friendly and helpful (unlike the rest of Rome which seemed to be full of people unwilling to help tourists). The area was a little 'seedy' - but then we found most of Rome to be the same! We never... more

We stayed on this Hotel and it was perfect for us! Just a places to drop our suitcases and leave early in the morning and come back to sleep let at night. We were just to get around the city as much as we could with our kids were 3 and 6 and they enjoyed it. Closed to the subway!... more

Stayed 2 nights, arrived late, thankfully by car as the shuttle finishes at 10:00pm, a desolate area, with many prostitutes working the nearby streets. Hotel itself was as one expects from Holiday Inn Express, modern, clean and very good breakfast by Rome standards, however we did have to change room as the previous occupant had decided to smoke himself stupid,... more

This hotel has the same category that other Holiday Inn. Nice and helpful people, great breakfast, Internet access (pay), and great guestrooms and a big bathroom, a very useful sofa and very clean and nice. The only thing criticizeable is the area where it is located. You are very far from downtown and metro station. The only way to go... more

The hotel looks like it in the middle of knowwhere but actually it's pretty good! Lovely for families with cars. It has a giant supermarket next door and round the corner from the main road "Prestina" which takes you straight into Rome. Service there is very good, most hotel staff are English speaking. Hotel has big rooms but is basic... more
