We found this hotel quite ok reasonably priced for a family of four (2 kids stay free) and decent inside... the location is not the best, not the easiest to get to.. it's about 20 minutes from the centre of Rome via the Metro getting off at Ponte Mammolo station and then a bus ride away from there... the hotel... more

We booked our reservation in advance at this hotel based on reviews posted on this site. We paid in advance, so we were committed to being there. We were happy with the hotel and the price. We would stay there again. It was affordable (79 euros for 4 people with breakfast and free parking). The hotel was clean, rooms were... more

We have just returned from our holiday to Rome staying at the Holiday Express Rome East which we were extremely dissapointed with to say the least. If you are thinking of booking it my advice would be not to bother. It is really in the middle of nowhere apart from a supermarket nearby(the only redeming feature). There are no other... more

We stayed at the Holdiay Inn Express for a week, and had a great time. The hotel is very clean, and the staff was friendly. They had a great breakfast buffet. There is also a supermarket and good restaurants within walking distance. Although the hotel was far from all the sites, it was easy to get around with the metro.... more

We booked this hotel as it was the cheapest one that I could find that looked quite modern, clean and to have decent facilities. And yes it does have good facilities for the money, the room was a good size with decent air conditioning and a nice early check in time. As all the other reviews show the hotel is... more

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and were very happy with everything. I would only recommend it. There is a small shuttle bus, lets say for 18 people, which runs every 30 minutes from the hotel to the nearest underground station called Ponte Mammolo, which is on the line B. Once you get on the underground or Metro... more

The rooms were large, clean and the breakfasts were good. The shuttle bus drove us to the metro and picked us up, which probably took an extra 1/2 hour of travel time, but the price was great and it was nice to be in a quiet area outside of Rome. One room did not have heat for 2 nights and... more

This Hotel is so far out of the way from anything. We were there on New Years Eve and took the bus then subway into the Center of Rome. Friends of ours stayed right in the Center of town and their Hotel was great. It took us up to an hour to get into town and on New Years Eve... more

I booked this hotel through internet and prepaid for 3 nights after much research. We had few options within our budget as we were 2adults/2children.The positive: Rooms and bathrooms are clean;good breakfast buffet, however eggs tasted"instant";price is very good for Rome; Shuttle to metro is helpful when in service. Neutral aspects: Some staff helpful/others uninterested in giving "detailed" information when asked, that... more
