Great location- a short walk to the trevi fountain, pantheon, spanish steps, and piazza navona. The room 221 and hotel are impeccably clean. Nice stuff. more

Terrific location convenient to most of the major tourist attractions. The hotel facilities are excellent and the hotel staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I would have no hesitation in staying there in future. more

It was the first time in Rome. It's a beautifull city, the eternal city. The Hotel Bolivar is in a good position, trevi fountain and colossuem are very near. It's a good way if you want to visit the city for your first time. The room was very clean, they change towels and sheets everyday. The breakfast room on the... more

I went to Rome, for a family vacation and to educate my 11 and 13 year old about Rome's culture and civilization. What a wonderful city! Hotel Bolivar charged higher prices and the pics looked nice on the website rome-hotels.it, so I booked it for 870 Euros, for 3 nights, for a "quad" room. Filthy room, bed spreads need upgrading... more

we went to the bolivar last year and were apalled by the dirt ,the lack of ......everything that made a hotel worth that name. breakfast disgustingly cold , old and poor.........the location is good but feeling stuck in that dirty filthy hole was a real sacrifice..........walls paper-thin with screams and fights between the workers!!! everything to make this stay unbelievable.... more

It's a very good hotel. The room was wonderfull, the position is very central, all the monuments are 5 minutes walking. The location is very quiet. It's good for relax time and there is also a pretty bar on the ground floor. more

Hotel was in a great location, 5 mins walk to Trevi, 5 mins to tomb of the solider, 10 mins to main shopping area. Ideal! Although they did put us on the first floor, which is terrible, clean but real old. when complained they said they could move us the next morning and it didn't seem a problem they even... more

Dark room.Tthe only window of the room had blocked sunblinds so we couldn't see the sunlight. We felt like kept in a prison. Small bathroom with very old accesories. I was hearing everything from my neighbours because we had a common door inside the room (closed). The breakfast was by far the most "economical" i ever had with very bad... more

I wanted to get airline mileage credit so used Choice Hotels-good medium priced hotel chain. Location was the main reason then cost. Wanted to maximize our time in the city-so choose the added expense of a car at the FCO airport. Thru emails with Peter, who repled to every inquiry I had, he arranged it. I wanted a car I... more

Stayed for 3 days in the Hotel Bolivar. This was our second time staying there. The first time we had Room 311 which has its own huge sun patio outside, the room is large but the bathroom is small. This time we stayed in 116 which was on the front of the hotel - in fact it is the only... more
