We stayed here for a few days in July 2009. The location was fantastic. We were able to walk to the Borghese Gallery, a nearby zoo, Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps, the Hard Rock Cafe Rome, shopping, and the Trevi Fountain. Every morning there was a fantastic breakfast buffet that had every possible type of food. The location was absolutely... more

Excellent Hotel ,Great location, 5 minute walk to Spagna Metro . Top class rooms and facilities, breakfast was okay , good selection of hot (could have been hotter)and cold food, expensive to eat or drink at hotel but you dont have to if you are out all day. Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in July 09. Had a room overlooking the beautiful Villa Borghese garden on the sixth floor. Great room / bathroom - very modern and had everything we needed included BBC World on the plasma TV! The hotel is just outside the city wall (all-important for taxi fares to the airports - take one... more

Stayed here as part of wifes 40th birthday trip. We were upgraded to a suite on the 7Th floor overlooking the gardens. The room was massive, clean and wonderfully equipped and decorated. The staff could not do enough for us and really made the trip. The buffet breakfast was good with lots of choice, one tip would be to get... more

I didn't actually select this hotel out of choice, I opted for the 'Top Secret Hotel' option on lastminute.com - life on the edge no less. I must admit, I was initially sceptical as I had read the pre-revamp reviews and a couple of the newer ones and they weren't exactly shouting from the roof tops. I was wrong to... more

Just got back from Rome and I'm really impressed by the city as well as by this lovely hotel. I've been to NH hotel before and liked their style so that is why I chose this one and didn't get disappointed. I'd have be a real stickler to find something disturbing. Modern stylish interior, good location - 10 minutes by... more

Lovely hotel in a great location. The room that we had was small but was really nicely decorated in a modern, contemporary style was clean and with everything that you need. Breakfast was fantastic and would cater for everyones tastes, proper "English" cereal, crossants, fruit, gorgeous pastries, chocolate mousse and scrambled egg and bacon. The breakfast room and bar were... more

Booked a deluxe room at this recently refurbished hotel, now called the NH Vittorio Venento, and were given a room on the 6th floor overlooking the Borghese Gardens. The hotel is situated on the a busy motorway in an industrial looking building. Room had a pleasant contemporary decor, somewhat spoilt by the cheap laminate wood-effect flooring. The bed was large... more

Room 238 has a narrow window that opens (if you dare to open it) in the bottom of a well filled with dirty stuff. Impossible to have day light or fresh air in the room, unless you are not afraid of rats, bugs and burglars that might come in. Burglars could get in even with a closed window. Don't look... more

This is a fantastic hotel. It has recently changed hands from 'Jolly' to 'NH' and as a result has been completely renovated. Some of the reviews for the 'Jollly Vittorio Veneto' reported a dated, tired 70s feel to the hotel which could be offputting. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived on 12th March for a weekend as supporters of... more
