Being of Italian (both my partner and I) and also being able to understand and speak limited Italian we found we were treated with a different level of respect compared to other guests. The hotel room was a bit on the small side, so it encourages you to get out. The location is probably the biggest let down. Walking around... More

Without boring you with a long story - I was with my 18 yr old daughter and was given a basement room with a lanai that was below and accesable to street level, when I asked for another room then next morning, because of several factors Safety bbeing the most-, they did not want to comply, but I was insistant... Small family run hotel. Staff are generally nice and knows how to speak English. However, I'd stay away from this hotel during rainy seasons such as late Autumn. Our room was on the second floor facing the street. The sewage smell was strong to the point that we had to open the window all the time (it's rather noisy at... More

We found the hotel to be very well maintained and clean. At first the neighborhood was a little off putting, but as we explored the area we came to find some real wonderful treasures. We had dinner at the Red Trattoria several nights, which is juhst down the from the hotel on Manzone . They were friendly and the food... More

Our stay at this hotel was part of a package and therefore cannot comment on the price/value equation. The hotel is off the beaten path and there if nothing to do around the neighborhood at night. The area is a little shady at night. The room we stayed at was beautiful, spacious and very clean. It was located on the... More

Front desk persons were not helpful and "stuffy". Felt like we were a bother when we arrived, and when asking for a suggestion for a place to have dinner. The rooms were clean, and small, but had a distinct odor. The "pillow" (if you want to call it that) were about as thick as a towel when folded. When I... More

The hotel is still undergoing renovation but is now almost complete. The room we stayed in was beautiful; well appointed, functional, and very quiet. Undoubtedly, the owners have incurred considerable expense to make it so. The pleasure of the physical beauty, however, is quickly negated by the experience of having to deal with some members of the staff. With three... More

This hotel was nothing like most of the pictures or the website. While our room was spacious and had a wonderful veranda, the rest of the stay was horrible. The staff were extremely unhelpful. You felt as if you were putting them out by asking for recommendations or help. The breakfast, while typical, was poor. Terrible coffee, juice that tasted... More

Hotel rooms are clean and the staff was helpful, but didnt care for the neighborhood. or th towels that were provided, would recommend bringing your own towels! Breakfast was plain, nothing fancy. Did not like the location, if it was in another location, would possibly stay here again. More
