We stayed in this hotel for two nights during our honeymoon. The hotel is very beautiful in a great location, but the staff really needs to shape up their hospitality skills. It seems that they are better fitted to handle a bar rather than a hotel. We would recommend this hotel for those who don't need anything at all during... more

We had a marvellous stay at the hotel during the last week of Apr 08. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We found many choices of restaurants within a few minutes of walking. Shopping was excellent and not far away, either. I cannot comment on the metro accessibility since we taxied to and from the hotel to the airport... more

The hotel is adequate as a base camp for exploring Rome. It was clean, compact and offered basic facilities. We booked 4 double rooms for our group and all were clean, though one of the rooms had a very strong smell of smoke. The rooms had a large comfortable double bed, tv (only CNN in English), mini bar and safe.... more

The hotel is nice enough, it was clean and although the somewhat small dark room we were allocated was comfortable it had all I wanted, a clean bathroom and bed. It had a TV and mini bar with safe, and was adequate for 4 days. To be honest you spend so much time sightseeing I did not want much more.... more

We booked this hotel upon recommendation by our travel agent. I considered cancelling after reading the nasty reviews---! This hotel was wonderful-----Very clean, our room was attractive & quite large (Sitting area included, & all expected amenities), the staff was very friendly, & very helpful....(Good recommendations, confirmed our taxi pick-up time, watched at the door for taxi arrival (4:00 am!)... more

Our stay at this hotel very pleasantly surprised me, having read other reviews (after I had booked), I was quite concerned about some of the comments that were being made and I thought I had made a mistake in booking. However: Yes, the rooms were fairly small, but they were very clean and tidy, bathrooms were clean and well stocked,... more

I was pretty concerned after booking this hotel when reading this site's reviews. However, my fears were misplaced. The hotel was decent - we had a decent sized room, a nice bathroom and it was clean. Hot water ran all day long. The reception staff were not the friendliest, but their service was ok. However, one exception to this was... more

When we arrived for a week in Rome, the desk clerk immediately told us he was overbooked and moved us to Hotel Trevi. He said it was a higher priced but he would cover the difference. In fact it was not higher priced. We were not happy. more

My Fiance and I have just come back from Rome, we stayed in the Quattro Fontane for three nights. On arrival tired and weary, we did expect at the very least a smile from the the guy on reception. Instead he hardly looked at us and practically threw the form and pen at us to sign in. However he did... more
