We stayed at the Caravel on 14 - 16 March. Hotel was clean and tidy. Not in the city centre, but only 10 minute walk from Metro and then a 10 minute metro journey. Bus stop just a few minutes away. Plumbing was noisy as were some of the other guests (on the Saturday night). Hotel is on a busy... more

I was thre twice. Always at winter. It has good heating. ( At Rome sometimes it's problem) The normal price is expensive, but via octopustravel, or hotelopia you can find 50-60€ nights/room price, what is friendly. more

I would love to say that everything had been perfect because it very nearly was, we had four separate beds in our room, the bar man was exraordinarily helpful and did his utmost to provide food for my picky eaters on the Sunday evening of our stay... the room was clean and comfortable although basic ... the 10 min bus... more

My boyfriend and I stayed for a week in Rome and really enjoyed our time there. The Caravel hotel was fine, the bus stop is very close and tickets are sold at the reception; we did find it a bit hard to get a bus back from the city centre later in the evenings (past 10:30). The hotel was clean... more

We stayed here for 3 days as part of an Archers Tour,The hotel is very basic at best. The rooms were quite small and needed updating, especially the bathrooms. We were kept awake by the plumbing noises from other rooms. The beds were quite comfortable and the included breakfast was adequate. The worst thing about the Hotel for us was the location. It was... more

The Hotel Caravel was a brilliant hotel. Me and my boyfriend stayed there for 7 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean with a very decent, standard room. There's a mini fridge in the room where we were able to leave food bought at the supermarket in the town. The bathroom was also clean and... more

The hotel is clean and neat with cheap internet available. Rooms are spacious and the complimentary breakfast is nice. But the hotel a pretty faraway from the main attractions so I would only recommend this hotel if you have your own transport or if you really know how to use Rome's rather complicated public transport system --- you need to... more

Stayed for 3 nights at the Caravel, was very clean and tidy, rooms cleaned and beds made/fresh towels on a daily basis. Staff friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was nice. Hairdryers in rooms were rubbish though! Bus stop down the road taking you to all major attractions, although there wasnt much to do in the local area everything closed quite... more
