My wife and i stayed here for two nights in mid July,on arrival the reception staff were very polite and helpful and spoke perfect english. The room was perfectly large enough for both of us,after all you are only going to sleep there, and was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was comparable with most hotel bathrooms we have used over the years... more

we found the hotel very clean and comfortable, the staff were courteous, the breakfast was plentiful for a 3 star hotel ,hams cheeses fruit croissants bread eggs.jam and plenty of good coffee or tea. The daniela is situated in avery nice quiet traditional street, but as mentioned by other reviewers the surraounding area is a bit run down, We only... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel in February 2005. We booked it through an internet package deal and only read the reviews on this page after we had paid. Suffice it to say I was extremely concerned and apprehensive. I got the surprise of my life when we arrived and we had a large, clean, quiet room. The... more

I stayed here in February 2005 for 1 night. I had a room booked in Hotel Bled in the next building for 4 nights but for some reason they put in Daniela for the first night. The single room at the top floor was so minimally little that I couldn't open my suitcase on the floor! The walls were so... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Daniela for 10 nights last summer and I find it really bizarre reading the reviews here. We had a brilliant time and found the hotel to be fantastic. The rooms were spacious, cleaned daily, with lovely fresh bed linen and the bed itself was extremely comfortable. As for the location, the hotel is... more

horrible, horrible, horrible. This could be the worst hotel I have ever visited. The people at the front desk are extremely rude and not helpful. The beds extremely uncomfortable and the walls paper thin. We could hear everything that was going on in rooms around us, even people couging, sneezing, talking, etc. This is definately NOT a 3 star hotel... more

We booked the "DANIELA" via Expedia and got a double room in the main building for about EURO 130,- per night during the 2004 easter week (which is peak season in Rome). The hotel surroundings are quite good and safe, one should only avoid walking to the central station or the Vittorio Emanuelle place at night. Take the Metro station... more

Generally, I found the hotel clean and nice. The area is not as bad as some of the reviews have stated and the hotel staff is fairly nice. I visited during the off season in January. However, I must warn potential guests that my digital camera and cell phone were stolen from my room within one day of checking in.... more

OK...we stayed here during the Easter season 2003. This was a high tourist time of year. A couple of things you have to remember when you travel in Europe...rooms are small, pipes are old, Europeans are not as clean as most Americans. For the gentleman who had the pipe noise, you should have known this. In winter time, when old... more

Hotel Daniela was horrible! We got a good package deal with Expedia for hotel and airfare, so we went with it without knowing. It's in a not-so-nice area of town... bums sleeping on the street... a little isolated and out of the way, very dirty. We had a terrifying walk home at night -- something I wouldn't recommend -- with... more
