My wife and I have just returned from Rome after staying there 3 days. We had a great time seeing all the sights and enjoying all the good wine and food Rome has to offer. Even though the weather was not great it did not spoil our holiday. The only thing we were not happy about was the hotel. Hotel... more

I have very good memories of hotel Torino. The service was very polite, and the receptionist was very skilled with different languages. The rooms were basic but neat, and there was a balcony in the room. We stayed at the second highest story, so it wasn´t that loud... The street beneath was quite noisy. The breakfast was very good. The... more

Located 5 minutes from Termini, 1-2 minutes from 3 restaurants with great authentic food, 15 - 20 minutes from tourist sites, 3 minutes from 3 ATMs. Need a taxi to get to the Vatican, but if you only have one bag it's easy to take the train and walk to the Hotel. Room was comfortable and clean, if small. It... more

Hotel Torino was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed for 7 nights in this hotel. When we arrived there was complete indifference to us. not even a 'good afternoon and welcome'. There was no help with our luggage.Breakfast room was filthy and full of pidgeons eating off the tables. There was a bath in the room... more

We got moved from another 3* hotel (Fiamma) which was over-booked and we certainly didn't complain! The Torino was in a great central location (less than 5 mins walk from 2 metro stops, Termini and Repubblica, and the bus terminal). That said, if you don't mind the heat you can walk to places such as the Colloseum and Pantheon. It... more

Originally booked to stay in hotel viminale but had to transfer here due to a problem at viminale. The hotel is pretty big and appeared to have conference rooms etc. There was a bar but I never saw this open once during my stay. We had one of the standard rooms which was big enough for 2 but had an... more

We arrived in Rome after a cruise of the Greek Islands. The hotel is well located and was clean and the staff friendly. Nice touches...crisp linen hand towels in the baths, cold breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. The hotel has some recent renovations. The staff helped arrange our tours. We were surprised the bar just off the lobby was not... more

Needed to stay in Rome longer than had originally booked. The hotel we stayed in the night before could not accomodate us an extra night and we were forced to search for alternate accom. What a blessing in disguise this turned out to be! The staff were very friendly, the room bigger and cleaner than the other hotel - and... more

We were originally booked into another hotel nearer the Forum but on arrival was told the agent had 'overbooked' but at no extra cost they were upgrading us to a 4 star hotel!!! If the Torino is a 4 star then I dread to think what a 3 star one is like. The hotel is well located although a walk... more
