We were absolutely satisfied with this hotel. It is situated directly in the city centre and we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted. The room was really clean and tastefu fixed up, the hotel staff was kindly and helpful. During our stay we felt comfortably. We can warmly reccomend it. more

We stayed at Caravaggio for two nights. The only thing good about the hotel is its location. It's very close to almost everywhere. But the room was really small even for two people. There was only one window which was pretty small, so the room was always dark during the day. The bathroom was also too small, it was only... more

This is not a hotel..its a rent a room set-up. the room was in very poor condition, wallpaper dirty and torn. Furniture in very poor condition. Only one usable power point. Only one bedside table with a broken power switch extension on the top. Behind a torn piece of wallpaper the space was stuffed with old newspapers to fill the... more

Please do not stay here. it was dreadful! I was a single traveller and I was positioned right next to reception. The receptionist tried to follow me into my room. I checked out straight away and stayed at a much nicer hotel- Hotel Virgilio- just down the street. It is a while since I stayed here but I really thought I... more

I always stay near Termini so that I can get to the airport easily. I've tried a hostel, a large hotel, and now the Hotel Caravaggio on Via Palermo near Via Nationale and all the bus lines. This has been my favorite thus far. (The hostel had no lift; the staff of the large hotel was rude and snooty.) The... more

For 100 Euros a night, you can do better. Based on my 3 night stay there's no way this hotel is 3 stars. Here's why: 1. There were four power outages in my room. The main light and bathroom light were always going off. Each time, I had to report it to the front desk and although it was promptly... more

Htl Caravaggio was a nice hotel, perfect location and peacefull area, just what we wanted. Room had everything that we needed, even a travel bed for our baby and a fridge that was big enough to keep babys food in cold. Room was quite small and toilet was tiny, but you don't travel to Rome to stay in you hotel,... more

We had a great stay in this hotel in may 2006. We had room 36 on the 4th floor, it was very clean and recently renovated. The room was large but with a small bathroom and had a small balcony looking out at the patio of a Governement building, very quiet. We hardly spent any time there because the city... more
