Don't be put off by some of the negative comments about this hotel. Have just spent four days there and found it perfectly adequate for a short stay in Rome - the rooms are quite small but big enough to sleep there, spotlessly clean, loads of hot water, good breakfasts and very friendly staff. If you just want a base... more

Plus = clean room, helpful stuff, convenient location, cheap in comparison to other hotels in Rome Cons = hotel is part of a building with other offices and all have a common entrance, very small & typical room, can hear noise from neighbooring rooms tip = choose hotel Embassy only if you intend not stay in room apart from your... more

After seeing some good reviews on the hotel I was very disappointed. When we arrived at the front door, which looked like the back end of a garage, we buzzed the buzzer and went inside. The building belongs to 2 hotels and a language school! The hotel was very old fashioned and the rooms were very small and basic. The... more

Just got back from a fab break in Rome. Stayed at the Hotel Embassy as it seemed a reasonible priced hotel for central Rome. The location was ok, but a liitle far out at the same time. If I went again I would find a hotel around the Trevi Fountain / Pantheon area as this is more central to all... more

I would recommend Hotel Embassy to anyone! We arrived very early in the morning and they stored our bags until we were able to check in. The staff was wonderful. All were friendly and very helpful. I was having trouble making a call back to the US with a calling card I purchased in New York. The man at the... more

About 10 mins walk from Termini, this hotel is located in a larger building that is shares with a few other businesses (including another hotel). The staff were pleasant, gave me a choice of rooms, and had sorted out the faxes and things that had been sent ahead of me, so I could just get on with what I wanted.... more

This hotel is very well located. You can really walk every from it. Rome looks bigger on the map, but it is easy to walk every where (except the Vatican). The subway is very near as a lot of facilities. The first room we got had a bit of a smell and we asked for another room, witch they gave... more

We found this hotel to be central and clean, but were given the smallest room in the whole place (which was obvious from the fire floor plan on the back of the door) and could touch all 4 walls of the bathroom without moving ! We were very glad that we were without kids and that we were out almost... more

My husband and I booked a room in this hotel, in order to spend our honeymoon. The photos in the hotel's website were very nice, so we decided to go for it! Unfortunately, these photos had nothing to do with the reality! The hotel was very, very old, the entrance was very strange (it was the entrance of a very... more

The hotel is excellent, perfect service, great price. I stayed in different hotels during my tour in Italy, and this was superior to any other hotel. It is well located, within walking distance of the main railway station and sites such as the Trevi Fountain, it is across the road from a bus stop, and fairly easy to find. I... more
