My husband and I stayed at Franklin the first two nights in Rome and it was definitely our favorite hotel by far out of all the hotels we stayed in all over Italy. The Vatican is close by so if you're planning a visit to the city, this place is highly recommended. The staff was friendly and helpful to our... more

The Franklin was the perfect choice for our weekend getaway to Rome! It's nestled in a relatively quiet, residential part of Rome, yet all the sights are very accessible either by metro or on foot. The Vatican is really close and from there it's really easy to get to theTiber and walk along the river and cross into the "old"... more

We stayed at the Franklin Feel the sound for just one night expecting it to be flawless as described, but unfortunately we experienced some problems. Upon arrival, our reservation made by the hotel website just hadn’t been received; luckily though there was a last room available (but we’ve been told that it wouldn’t have been available the next day). Our... more

This was really an experience. Coming to Rome for three days it was necessary to find something unusual as an accomodation still not very expencive and "hiltonish". Franklin Feel the Sound is just THE hotel. It not really avante-garde, but it is different. There are drums in the rooms instead of bedside tables, Bang and Olufsen microsystems in the rooms... more

We stayed at the Franklin after reading reviews on trip advisor. I booked it through my travel agent but I did all the research and it would have been just as easy to book it through the hotel. The staff is awsome and all speak perfect English. The rooms are modern and quite large, some with patios or balconies. Extremely... more

This has to be the best value for money hotel in Rome. What a gem! The room was very good, and I liked the slippers instead of bath mat. The staff are brilliant, so friendly and helpful, and they baked us a cake for our wedding anniversary. It is ten minutes walk from the Vatican, and you can also catch... more

What a lovely hotel! The staff were fantastic - very friendly, helpful and accomodating. If there are 3 or more of you travelling, email the hotel and ask them to arrange pick up from airport (Fuimicino) - it is about 50euro, but works out only slightly more than 3 of you getting a train into Rome. The hotel itself is... more

Just got back from a very pleasant stay at the Franklin 'Feel The Sound' Hotel in an area of Rome called Prati, about 15 mins walk North of the Vatican. This music-themed hotel is modern & clean, with quirky little details which make this hotel stand out from the rest. Revolving disco ball in the bathroom, bedside table drums and... more

Tucked into a working-class neighborhood not too far from Vatican City, the Franklin Feel the Sound Hotel offered us clean and hospitable accommodations and one of the best breakfasts of our two-week stay in Italia. As a family of four, we needed a quad room, and while the fit was a tad tight, the room was clean, tidy and always... more
