The staff at this hotel were very helpful; the nearby restaurants they recommended, particularly 'Il Golfo' on via Rafaelle Cadorna, were all excellent and my advance request for soya milk and goat cheese for the ample breakfasts was well met! However, the room was cool - several requests to turn up the heating in our 6th floor room did not... more

This neat 4-star hotel is a really good alternative when visiting Rome for a romantic holiday. Its good location, in walking distance to all major attractions, its good breakfast buffet and its serviceminded staff makes this hotel well worth the money. The rooms are quite small but comfortable with air-condition and comfortable beds. The interiour is quite dated but the... more

Stayed here one night pre cruise. Booked it because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and it'sproximity to our favourite restaurant in Rome –the Trattoria Cadrona at Via Raffaele Cadrona. It is a short stroll from Roma Termini and down a quiet side street, the other end had many restaurants and was quite jumping with locals, not tourists at night. The... more

If all you want is a clean bed then maybe, but four star it is NOT! We read all the reviews of Trip Advisor and the website for this hotel made it look very attractive, but oh my god the room we got was so small and claustrophobic that it totally freaked me out. But that is not the worst,... more

I Love this hotel! It was my second stay there, because they offered the best deal for 4* hotels. I booked the standart rooms via booking.com. But I emailed directly to the hotel to re-confirm my reservation. I got an answer in 20 minutes! I mentioned that I was travelling with my husband and 4 year old son - they... more

This is a small hotel about 10 minutes walk from the main railway station and about 1 min from buses to the Vatican and central Rome. It is central but quiet. We had a pleasant room on the top floor with comfortable king sized bed, immaculate bathroom (shower only) and mini bar / TV etc (which we did not use)... more

I just read the review 'Bait and switch' ,my wife and my experience was in reverse ,Booked the Gambinus Hotel ,switched to The Baileys Hotel. May I state at first that we did not complain openly to the staff. That was not an option on our first visit to this wonderful city an experience which should have included our stay... more

Having selected Baileys as part of an AirMiles deal we were thoroughly pleased with the quality, near to the station & albeit a little out of the tourist area, peacefully quiet and comfortable room after days sightseeing. Staff extremely helpful, good continetal breakfast, very clean and satisfactory overall. We do not think this is a 4Star , though would use... more

We booked Baileys after looking at several hotel websites for Rome hotels and read lots of reviews. We booked for 3 nights and we were not disappointed. It was quite easy to walk there from the Termini Station (we googled it to get walking directions). Our room was very spacious (305) on the front of the building looking out over... more

I don't quite recall which website we booked this hotel from, but we paid for 3 nights and got the 4th free... So money-wise it was a great deal, considering their regular prices seemed steep compared to our 80Euro/night max budget. By the way, anytime you're booking a hotel in Italy, make sure to also try calling them directly or... more
