My wife and I stayed at the hotel for four nights in mid september. The location of the hotel is not the best, but a short distance (3 blocks) away there is a bus stop. The bus takes you to the center of Rome. The room was clean but too small. The buffet breakfast was fine and the staff cordial... more

We were sent here because there was a problem at our selected Hotel Waldorf. Very pleasant member of staff organised a taxi for us to travel the short distance to Giotto. Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable room, beautiful bathroom facilities, good breakfast, very helpful staff. But no bar or restaurant, as advertised. Lovely area, but beware - if you're going... more

a quite good hotel, but not something special. the room is a bit smaller for 2 persons, but very clean, the curtain in the bathroom was dirty. breakfast was included, buffet, but not so much food. only non smoking rooms. :o( not so far from the metro station that can take you to the center of the city more

My husband and I stayed at the Giotto to celebrate our birthdays in January. The hotel was better than some and no worse than others we have stayed in. Yes the rooms are small and the bathroom shower was a challenge to even the best contortionist but we only needed a room for a base as we were out every... more

We stayed here on a Top Deck tour, the hotel is not the easiest to find and is serviced by intermittent public transport. The room was small but clean but the shower was definately interesting as it was a shower head attached to the wall and then the drain was on the bathroom floor. It made the bathroom very slippery... more

My friends and I stayed here for two nights. The room wasn't HUGE, but it did suffice for the four of us. The rooms were clean. The hotel itself overall was great, especially the roof. It was really nice up there at night, nice view of the city lights. Also, located directly across the street is a little cafe. The... more

When we first arrived we were put into a tiny room on the ground floor. The bathroom was a very small wet room with the shower head over the toilet and the walls were covered in mould. We were moved the following day to the 6th floor. It was a single room witha second single bed added to make it... more

This hotel was far from everything. It was clean but the shower was tiny. The breakfast they served was ok. You had to take a bus to the train or you could walk a 15 minute walk to the train. I don't think I will like to stay there again since it was so far from everything. more

EXTREMELY BAD, BAD, BAD, BAD SERVICE!!!!!!! Don't ever visit Giotto hotel in Roma!!! I had the most terrible experience there. The bathroom door has locked and I've remained locked inside for about 40 minutes. I've pulled the S.O.S million of times, but instead of urgent reaction by the hotel staff, the receptionist has only phoned my room!!! Of course, due... more

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a 2 day break at the hotel Giotto. Although the rooms are clean, they are extremly small and the walls are so thin..we got a early morning wake up call from the maids cleaning the bedrooms around us! This hotel is ideal for a short weekend break but take your hiking boots... more
