We booked last minute a long week end in Rome and our choice has been the Hotel Ariston: their web site is so attractive and we found a discounted rate available for a double room. We did not even expect that much for the rate we paid for! The room was spacious and decorated in modern style. The lounge is... more

"Superior" gloomy room (it was impossible to distinguish day from night as the window overlooked a narrow inner courtyard), the bar-fridge was empty, tv channels reception very bad. Poor bathroom furniture, with shower, toilet and a microscopic shelf . I don't dare to think how an "ECONOMY" room looks like more

Having spent a couple of horrible nights in an apparently 5 star hotel The Ariston was recommended to us by a local. At half the price of the previous hotel, it was a most welcome surprise to find this clean, modern, funky and friendly hotel. It is across the road from Termini and as with previous posts it may not... more

On our last day, because of some errors made by Orbitz.Com, the Hotel Morgana's manager sent us over to Ariston Hotel, which apparently is owned by the same owner. So, if you had read my reviews about Hotel Morgana, you wouldn't be surprised with the rooms in Ariston Hotel. Yet, honestly, I think the receptionist at the Ariston is a... more

I purchased a hotel stay with breakfast and when I checked in I was told breakfast was an extra charge. Lots of thefts in the area have occurred so the hotel manager and the security chief decided to take matters into their own hands. After staying in the hotel for 4 nights the hotel staff still could not identify me... more

For a 4 star hotel this was not good. We stayed in a 3 star on our first night in room, we had a very spacious room and bathroom but decided to stay in a 4 star for our last two nights to treat ourselves. When we walked into the room the porter had to lift our suitcases over a... more

I am 67 years old and very sensitive in general but this hotel really satisfied me in all senses. They gave me an appropriate room. The front desks were available 24 hours so they really respond to all of my needs during my stay . more

Stayed in the Ariston for one night whilst passing through Rome. The city itself is fantastic and can not reccomend it enough. Hotel very good. Rooms spacious and clean, good aircon and bathroom. Very functional but nice. Check in went ok but check out was a bit of an issue. Booked via the web and was quoted a price of... more

I have just returned from a long weekend in Rome with friends and I had a great time there staying at the Ariston. Before booking I think it is important to be aware of the range of rates they offer. According to the reviews on Tripadvisor, the experience of staying on the unrenovated first and second floor or staying on... more
