Hotel des Artistes has very comfortable rooms -- the nicest we saw in Europe on a budget. The location is convenient to Termini station and the Metro.
The only downside is that the elevator is quite old, and if it's not running you have a 5-story climb just to get to reception! Very unusual. The staff was nice though.

The hotel is divided in two separete buildings but this is not something to bother you. The reception is on the 5th floor and we got an access card for the 2nd building and the room.

This hotel, within few blocks of Termini was lovely. Very generous room, nice bathroom and lovely hotel staff.
It is within walking [towing wheeled suitcase] distance from Termini and there are a number of wonderful restaurants in a 3 block radius.
