I have used this Hotel many times for multiple visits to this stunning city. The location is perfect for access to airports and bus connections as well as the Rome Metro. You are 3 minutes from the Central Train Station and an easy walk with bags. The staff is always helpful and very approachable. There are a variety of room... more

This place ruined our time in Rome. Was travelling with two other friends. Together we had two seperate rooms both of which on the first night we were bitten. My room was this horrible dark place where I felt like I was in a basement, the bathroom was broken and it smelt. On the second night we were moved to... more

We stayed for 5 nights in the hotel europa. Once you overlooked the general shabbiness of the rooms the place grows on you Sister had to change rooms because of the smell coming from her room , avoid rm 306 Cousin had the infamous room in the attic but stayed in it because if the adequacy of the bathroom All... more

Let me start by saying that this hotel is rated a 3-stars. With the experience that I had, the only 3-stars that it has is the lobby, the reception area, I had better room in a 1 star in a third world motel. I was given room #405 upon check-in. To get to that room, you have to climb a... more

I had booked to stay at this hotel with my boyfriend for a long weekend but after seeing some of the reviews we were both extremely dubious. However, I have to say we were more than pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean, in an excellent location and the breakfast is more than adequate. The staff are extremely helpful and speak... more

The hotel is located near the Termini station. There is absolutely nothing to do in the area in the evenings and the area is full with homeless people and drunks. The hotel is very basic, far from 3 star hotel. We had the smallest room I have ever seen, nothing like the one on the photo. Our room was a... more

The area around Termini station used to have a reputation for disreputable characters and iffy hotels. Not so in recent years – the station has cleaned up its act with some cool shopping, air-conditioned café-bars and even its own art gallery! The Hotel Europa is an excellent base from which to explore the city and get out of town on... more

The pictures represented for this hotel are SOMEWHERES ELSE. I didnt see a fountain or courtyard or pool. We had 2 "double" rooms. We crawled over the bed to get to the bathroom. If your luggage was in the way, you were in trouble. It is, however, very convenient to the main train station, Termini, which also has a place... more

First up, you have to throw away your NZ/Aus/US/Canadian idea of service before staying in a European hotel. They have totally different ideas. Our room was dark, but clean. The bathroom on the scummy side and tiny, but hygenic I guess. The matresses on the beds were really thin, about half the size of a normal mattress and very hard,... more
