The hotel location was great, the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms very comfortable. As we ate out all the time, the only meal we had in the hotel was breakfast which was a very well-supplied buffet with everything from bacon and eggs to fruit and croissants. The bar on the roof terrace had fabulous views and was... More

Loved everything about this medium sized 5 star Hotel which is next to a park within easy walking distance of everything you want to see in Rome. Great views of the City from the top floor where we had champagne and watched the sun setting over the Vatican each evening. Polite, smiley and very helpful staff and I would recommend... More

Great location. Walking distance to the Spanish Steps, the Park, Trevi Fountain, the Metro, and some touristy-shopping. An authentic feeling boutique hotel. The staff was very helpful in directing me to gelato, a bookstore and restaurants within walking distance. A high point was the continental breakfast, a much better spread than you get in most US hotels. Nice selection of... More

Hotel Villa Borghese---superb staff!!! the most helpful, considerate I have encountered!!! The room was very small--but adequate--spotlessly clean. Shower was hand held and no way to avoid soaking the floor-=-but very clean each day. The view leaves a bit to be desired and the alley noise from the bar at night was sometimes loud--but ( for me) the worst part--the... More

We were a group of 8 (3 couples and 2 singles) and all of us were quite happy with our rooms. There are no lifts and the luggage was brought up by one of the staff. Since our room was on the 4th floor this was especially appreciated. Our room had a very nice bathroom and was light and airy.... More

We chose this hotel because of its location overlooking the Borghese Park and were not disappointed. The staff were all extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. The small number of rooms made for a homely atmosphere. The room was kept very clean and towels changed every day. The staff offered much practical advice regarding travel to the centre, moderately priced restaurants within easy walking distance and... More

Stayed here for a week in October 2003. The rooms are very small, dark and dingy. In some of the singles the bed takes up the full length and you can can lie in bed and touch the wall on the other side of the room. Furnishing and bathroom facilities are all rather old and scruffy. My shower was no... More

I stayed here on my honeymoon in 2001. The staff were lovely and friendly, and our room was spacious and clean, with gorgeous view overlooking the villa borghese and it's fabulous gardens. The rooms were well airconditioned (a must for the weather in summer in Rome). The hotel was very old fashioned ie. furnishings, marble floors, and very 'roman' if... More
