I stayed at Casa di Lia for 4 nights in October 2011. I have been traveling to Italy for many years (I have probably accumulated over a year of lodging in Rome), and as a result I am quite familiar with most areas of Rome. This location is very attractive, away from the maddening crowd yet just a brief walk... More

It was amazing to find such lovely and reasonable accommodations so close to Rome's main attractions, easily accessible by public transportation. The owners are extremely friendly and do everything to make one feel at home. Breakfast is do-it-yourself, with a good coffee machine, packaged sweet rolls, biscuits, crackers and bread, a toaster, and a fridge with juice, butter, milk, jam,... More

As I was attending a conference at the auditorium of Parco della musica, I did stay at la Casa di Lia. Closed to the auditorium (ten minutes walk), the location allows you to discover a Roman district far from the places frequented by tourists. Very good restaurants nearby (I recommend Ristorante La Vignola) and easy to go in the city... More

We have stayed at this b&b twicw abd both times Lia, the owner was the most helpful and sweet. The flat is locateed near Piazza di Popolo and with a day ticket you can use the tram as much as you want. There are hundrends of small, cozy restaurants around and you will never feel hungry. Casa di Lia is our place to stay in Rome for more than 10 years now. We moved to New Zealand and if we come back to Europe, there is always time for a few days in Rome with Lia. The bed&breakfast has all you need, nice tidy rooms and bathrooms. Self contained kitchen. Close to public transport and only... More

Casa di Lia is truly a home in Rome. We have stayed there at least nine times. Lia ia so accommodating and helpful. She speaks English and is a friend now. They have a inhouse menu for guests who wish to eat inhouse. They also provide pickup and return to the airport. The neighborhood is quiet and easily reached by... More

Lia is a very welcoming person, therefore the first impression you will have is a good one. She runs a simple but confortable bed and breakfast that offers the basics for your staying in Rome. The place is not at the best location, however it is served by a bus line that takes you everywhere at the town. She offers... More

I have stayed at A Casa di Lia a few times and each time was terrific. Lia is a very helpful, warm hostess. She was very accommodating to all of our needs. Our room was very clean. Good breakfast included. Very reasonable rates for rooms. Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to all major sights. I highly... More

I am an American Roman born traveler. Casa di Lia is located in the neighborhood where I grew up. Every couple of years when my husband and I go to Rome, we always stay there. I am very familiar with the neighborhood. But during our last trip, we stayed there with my cousin and her husband and they felt comfortable... More

My husband and I spent our last night in Rome at A Casa di Lia. We booked on Venere.com at 110 Euros for a double with our own bathroom. The room and bathroom were very clean except the shower curtain had mildew all over it. I think it's time to change it. Also our television didn't work. We didn't ask... More
