the doors and walls were pretty much paper thin so you could hear other guests and the cleaners each and every morning, breakfast was a few staleish rolls and cheese/ham or cereal so a bit disappointing for Italy. the staff were pretty nice and the location was fairly good - about 10 mins walk to Trevi fountain. there is a... This is a hotel I have recommended for family and friends in Rome. It's a small hotel, spotlessly clean with a short walk to Trevi in one direction and the Forum in the opposite. If you want glamour this is the worng hotel for you but if you want a clean small safe hotel in the centre of Rome then... More

Very good for location, walking distance to Termini station. Room small but clean. Comfortable and reasonably good for price (around 75 euro for one night in single room). Breakfast was awful. More

I picked this hotel based on a recommendation by Rick Steves. It is near the Termini train station (10 - 15 minute walk). Via Firenze is a quiet street with little traffic. It is located near the Republica Metro station (closest) along with the previously mentioned Termini train/Metro station. I stayed in a single room so it was small (twin... More

We found the staff very helpful, welcoming and the rooms were clean and a sound size with a bathroom, for Italian standards, being spacious. Continental breakfast was good with a good variety of food. The breakfast staff will make you a cappuccino if you ask. More

We were in Rome for two weeks on vacation in January. We picked the Hotel Aberdeen as our first lodging, largely because it was so conveniently located--a short walk from the main Train station and close to many landmarks--but it was such a delight to stay there we never left (until we left Rome altogether). Rooms were simple but very... More

We booked five rooms at this hotel for a European family adventure. My parents, both sisters and their husbands, one set of in-laws, and my wife, daughter and I stayed here last week. Location is amazing because it is a 3 minute walk to the metro, which in Rome will take you close to all the major sights for 1... More

We stayed there on March 2011. Clean, very good location, friendly staff. A renovation could make it an ideal hotel! We defently recommend this hotel, and we would stay there again! More

We spent 4 nights here in March 2011. Very good location: 10 min walk to Colosso, 1 min walk to Metro (Piazza di Republica) The room was small, but we do not go to Rome to stay in the room!! There was olny one chair in the double room. Breakfast: wow!! Coffee and cappuccino, cakes, bread, juice .... everything you... More

Stayed here three nights in March and was very pleased with this property. The location is near many nice restaurants and close walking distance to train station and subway. The rooms are clean and comforable. The breakfast was better than I expected and the coffee was great. The staff were quite helpful and time we needed advice or assistance. I... More
